Account and Identity Information: First name, last name, email address, profile picture, and communication preferences provided during registration or profile creation.
User Content and Receipt Data: Photos of bills/receipts captured via your camera or uploaded from your photo library for bill-splitting and expense-tracking purposes, including line items, prices, currencies, and expense notes.
Group and Sharing Data: Expense groups you create, group members, and split amount calculations.
Technical and Device Data: IP address, device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, crash logs, and usage statistics.

2. Google AdMob and Advertising Services

To offer core features of the application for free, Fisbo utilizes advertising technologies from Google AdMob and Google’s authorized advertising partners.

Google AdMob and third-party advertising networks may collect and process the following information to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements tailored to your interests:

Advertising Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID) and Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
Device and Network Information: Device type, screen resolution, language settings, mobile network operator, and approximate (city/country-level) location data.
Ad Interaction Data: Ads displayed, ad clicks, and view durations.
Opting Out of Personalized Ads: You can reset your advertising identifier or disable personalized ad tracking at any time via your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).

3. Processing of Receipt Images and OCR Data

Receipt photos uploaded by you are processed exclusively through our AI-Powered Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to extract text and separate expense items. Your receipt images are never sold, rented, or repurposed as marketing material for third parties.

4. Purposes of Using Information

Collected personal and technical data is used for the following purposes:

Seamlessly providing Fisbo services, bill-splitting, and receipt-scanning features,
Managing user accounts and verifying security,
Enhancing the accuracy of AI models and improving user experience,
Debugging, server optimization, and analytical reporting,
Managing ad delivery via Google AdMob,
Fulfilling obligations arising from applicable legal regulations.

5. Data Security and Retention

Your data is protected using industry-standard security protocols (SSL/TLS encryption, secure database architecture, and strict access controls). However, please note that no company can guarantee 100% security for data transmission over the internet or electronic storage.

6. User Rights (GDPR & KVKK Compliance)

In accordance with GDPR, KVKK (Law No. 6698), and relevant international data protection laws, our users have the right to:

Learn whether their personal data is being processed,
Request information regarding processed data,
Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
Permanently delete their account and all associated data (Account Deletion Request),
